Industrial Blasting Services

On-Site Surface Preparation for Industrial Facilities

Industrial surface preparation requires the right equipment, the right knowledge, and the flexibility to work within the constraints of an operating facility. Cleaner Finish Mobile Blasting brings both dustless media blasting and dry ice blasting directly to your plant, shop, or job site — eliminating the need to transport heavy equipment offsite for surface prep.

We work with facility managers, maintenance teams, and general contractors on projects ranging from single-piece equipment cleaning to full structural steel preparation.

Blasting Solutions

Industrial Applications

Structural Steel Preparation

Remove rust, mill scale, old coatings, and corrosion from structural steel beams, columns, and connections. Prep surfaces to specification for recoating or inspection.

Machinery and Equipment Cleaning

Strip old paint, grease, carbon buildup, and contamination from industrial machinery, motors, housings, and components. Dustless blasting for heavy stripping; dry ice blasting for precision cleaning without disassembly.

Tank and Vessel Cleaning

Interior and exterior surface preparation for storage tanks, pressure vessels, hoppers, and silos. Remove coatings, buildup, and corrosion for inspection or recoating.

Plant Maintenance

Routine and scheduled maintenance blasting for piping systems, support structures, floor coatings, and other plant infrastructure.

Weld Preparation and Cleanup

Surface prep before welding and cleanup of flux, spatter, and heat discoloration after welding operations.

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE

Dustless Blasting vs. Dry Ice Blasting

Cleaner Finish offers two professional blasting methods — each suited to different surfaces and project types. Here's how they compare, and when to use each.

DUSTLESS MEDIA BLASTING

Advanced Surface Prep Without the Mess

Dustless media blasting combines water and abrasive media in a controlled stream that strips coatings, rust, paint, and surface contaminants without producing the dust clouds associated with traditional sandblasting. The result is a cleaner, safer process that's effective on a wide range of surfaces — from delicate wood and brick to heavy-duty steel and concrete.

Best for: paint and rust removal from metal, wood, brick, and concrete; residential exteriors; automotive frames; graffiti removal; pool and driveway restoration.

DRY ICE BLASTING

Non-Abrasive Cleaning for Sensitive Surfaces

Dry ice blasting uses compressed air to propel solid CO2 pellets against a surface. On impact, the pellets sublimate — turning directly from solid to gas — which lifts contaminants from the surface without abrasion, moisture, or secondary waste.

Best for: sensitive electronics, engine bays, classic vehicle restoration, food-grade equipment, industrial machinery, mold remediation, and historical restoration.

Why choose us

Dustless Blasting vs. Dry Ice Blasting for Industrial Applications

Industrial projects often call for one method or the other depending on the surface and the goal:

  • Dustless media blasting: Best for aggressive coating removal, rust stripping, and surface profiling on structural steel, concrete, and heavy equipment.
  • Dry ice blasting: Best for precision cleaning of electrical components, motors, production equipment, and surfaces where moisture or abrasion is not acceptable.

We evaluate each project and recommend the right approach. In some cases, both methods may be used on different areas of the same job.
