Log Cabin & Specialty Blasting Services
Custom Surface Restoration for Unique Projects
Not every project fits neatly into a standard category. Log homes, swimming pools, historical structures, graffiti-tagged walls, and other specialty surfaces all require a tailored approach. Cleaner Finish Mobile Blasting evaluates each unique project individually and matches the right method, media, and pressure to the specific surface and goal.
Log Cabin & Specialty Blasting Services
Log Cabin and Log Home Blasting
New England is home to thousands of log cabins and log homes that need periodic refinishing. Over time, exterior stain, sealant, and UV damage accumulate, and the logs need to be stripped back to bare wood before a fresh coat of stain or preservative can be applied.
Dustless blasting is one of the most effective methods for stripping log homes. It removes old stain, weathered wood fibers, mold, and mildew from the surface while preserving the integrity of the wood grain. The result is a clean, absorbent surface that accepts new stain evenly and deeply.
Removes stain, sealant, paint, and weathered wood fibers
Cleans mold and mildew from exterior log surfaces
Preserves the natural wood grain and log profile
Preps logs for fresh stain, oil, or preservative application
Faster and more thorough than hand sanding or chemical stripping

Pool Blasting and Restoration
Strip old pool paint, plaster coatings, and calcium deposits from concrete and gunite pool surfaces. Dustless blasting provides an even, thoroughly cleaned surface that’s ready for replastering, resurfacing, or repainting.
Graffiti
Removal
Spray paint, marker, and other graffiti materials can bond deeply into porous surfaces like brick, stone, and concrete. Our dustless blasting process removes graffiti thoroughly without damaging the underlying substrate. We work with property managers, municipalities, and business owners to restore surfaces quickly and completely.
Historical and Heritage Restoration
Older buildings and historical structures require careful surface work. Whether you’re removing decades of paint from ornamental ironwork, cleaning stained stone, or restoring a heritage facade, we evaluate the surface and select the appropriate method and media to clean without causing damage.

KNOW THE DIFFERENCE
Dustless Blasting vs. Dry Ice Blasting
Cleaner Finish offers two professional blasting methods — each suited to different surfaces and project types. Here's how they compare, and when to use each.
DUSTLESS MEDIA BLASTING
Advanced Surface Prep Without the Mess
Dustless media blasting combines water and abrasive media in a controlled stream that strips coatings, rust, paint, and surface contaminants without producing the dust clouds associated with traditional sandblasting. The result is a cleaner, safer process that's effective on a wide range of surfaces — from delicate wood and brick to heavy-duty steel and concrete.
Best for: paint and rust removal from metal, wood, brick, and concrete; residential exteriors; automotive frames; graffiti removal; pool and driveway restoration.
DRY ICE BLASTING
Non-Abrasive Cleaning for Sensitive Surfaces
Dry ice blasting uses compressed air to propel solid CO2 pellets against a surface. On impact, the pellets sublimate — turning directly from solid to gas — which lifts contaminants from the surface without abrasion, moisture, or secondary waste.
Best for: sensitive electronics, engine bays, classic vehicle restoration, food-grade equipment, industrial machinery, mold remediation, and historical restoration.
